Viking Log Furniture is a financially sound company that has been in business since 1979. Viking is an owner operated, family business that has managed to redefine itself and diversify its product lines to continue to grow. We started manufacturing waterbeds in the 80’s and then we transitioned to futons and oak furniture in the 90’s. Today, we manufacture a complete line of log furniture, barnwood furniture and sawtooth hickory furniture.
We think you’ll love the products from Viking Log Furniture, and we have put together a few reasons as to why we believe that.
Viking stocks its vast product line of log furniture and barnwood furniture in its own warehouse, so when you place the order, it is ready to ship. No lead times on our stock items in our catalog. Viking has over $450,000 worth of inventory items in its warehouse.
Viking Log Furniture places a lifetime warranty on all of the products it manufactures. To ensure the best quality furniture, we start out with quality raw materials. Pine logs: Kiln dried logs and dimensional stock lumber. Drawer Slide: All drawer boxes are solid Maple with dovetail construction. Drawers use side mount, epoxy coated, 3/4 extension roller slides that are rated for 100 pounds. Cedar Drawer Bottom: Aromatic red cedar lines the bottom of every top drawer of our furniture cabinets. Finish example: All log furniture and barnwood furniture is finished with a moisture resistant catalyzed lacquer. Boxed product: All of our product is protected during the shipping process with corrugated cardboard boxes.
We enjoy making handcrafted, custom log furniture or barnwood furniture to fit your needs. We pride ourselves in our craftsmanship and working with our customers to manufacture the product to their specifications. Give us a call, and we will give you a quote.
We have very skilled and talented craftsmen and craftswomen who are dedicated to getting the job done. Through hard work, communication, teamwork, and a little bit of sweat, Viking’s employees do their best everyday to satisfy our customers’ needs.
We hand draw knife all edges of our accent logs, handles, tops, doors, and drawer fronts. A draw knife is a traditional hand tool composed of a metal blade with a handle on each side. Our woodworkers pull or draw the blade towards themselves to shape or scallop the edges of the pine wood.
Viking Log Furniture also uses a variety of machinery to make the manufacturing process more precise and cost effective.
